Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to provide students with the skills to understand and solve environmental problems and to become active citizens for a sustainable future and to develop students' social responsibilities and their ability to make informed decisions about the protection of natural resources while understanding the importance of environmental awareness.
Course Content
The content of the course is generally the analysis of environmental problems, environmental awareness, sustainable use of natural resources, environmental protection policies and laws, waste management, climate change, environmental justice, environmental ethics. The scope of the course is to provide students with information about the causes, effects and solutions of environmental problems, while addressing civic concepts such as social responsibility, citizenship rights and duties.
