Course Goal / Objective
Understanding of general methods and concepts in biology, basic biological characteristics of living things, and methods and applications of examining human genetics, cancer biology, biology of immunity.
Course Content
To understand the cell structure function; definition of the cell, its structural features, cell membrane and inner membrane systems from its structural elements, membrane signaling, identification of the names of other organelles of the cell, evaluating the interaction of cells with each other, structural and functional properties of molecules that carry genetic information, their interactions with other molecules, synthesis of proteins, hereditary transmission of genetic information. To explain the shapes, properties of chromosomes and to associate problems that may arise in chromosomes and genetic information flow with hereditary diseases.
