Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to have knowledge about mother-child nutrition, to prepare appropriate menu samples, to take necessary precautions about mother-child health and diseases and to guide.

Course Content

Definition of nutrition, its importance, nutrients, food groups, nutritional habits in children, nutrition in different time periods, preparation of foods, nutrition of children with special conditions, nutrition according to developmental periods. Getting to know the healthy child, taking in-class measures to protect the child's health, cooperating with the relevant personnel on the child's health, knowing the characteristics of the sick child, common complaints in children and cooperation with the relevant personnel, diseases seen in children aged 0-12, vaccines and serums.
