Course Goal / Objective
The aim is to inform students about the importance of energy efficiency, the environmental problems associated with energy requirements, and how they can be reduced.
Course Content
The European Union and Turkey's environmental and energy policies, environmental pollution caused by energy production and consumption, climate change, global warming, and its adverse effects, ecology and its significance, thermal comfort, energy management and insulation in buildings, high-energy performance structures, energy conservation and efficiency in industry and homes, laws and application principles for environmental impact assessment of energy sources.
