Course Goal / Objective

To teach the ion channels and their properties in the muscle and nerve tissues stimulated in the living system and to teach the application of the laws of physics over the electrical equivalent circuit.

Course Content

Ion channels, Na channels, K channels, Cl channels, Ca channels, Uniport symport etc gates, channels in nerves, ion channels in muscles, physical factors affecting channels, chemical properties affecting channels, channel blockers, electrical circuits of channels, accepted electrical HH model
