Course Goal / Objective

To enable students to learn basic environmental concepts by examining environmental issues and problems from various perspectives and to support the development of environmental literacy skills in them.

Course Content

Basic ecological concepts and principles, ecosystems, food chains, food web, habitat, competition; symbiosis and mutual life, energy flow, circulation of matter, population growth, ecological impact, erosion, soil and water resources, environmental awareness, studies about environmental awareness in the world, institutions and organizations; environmental education in primary education programs
