Course Goal / Objective

Teaching energy demand and supply, which is a measure of development of countries, and the environmental problems that occur in this process, and determining alternative energy sources, which are the most important solution approaches to these problems.

Course Content

Environmental Problems within the Framework of Basic Concepts and Laws of Thermodynamics, Energy Concepts, Historical Development of Energy, Energy: Options for Environment and Development, Effects of Energy Production on the Environment, Energy in Ecosystems, Energy and Economic Growth, Sustainable Development, Underground and Aboveground Energy Resources, New Within the Scope of Environmental Problems Energy Resources (Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Biomass Energy, Wave Energy, Geothermal Energy), Turkey's Energy Resources.
