Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to equip students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to teach mathematics in an effective and fun way, taking into account the developmental characteristics of children. This course includes various objectives such as making students understand the importance of mathematics in preschool period, teaching basic mathematical concepts, introducing and practicing different teaching methods and gaining material development skills.

Course Content

Cognitive theories, development of preschool mathematics skills, matching, classification, comparison, ordering, time, measurement, graphics, geometric shapes, planning of mathematics activities.
