Course Goal / Objective
To describe basic meteorology parameters and relationships between these parameters to explain main principles of agricultural meteorology to teach meteorological data handling methods
Course Content
Introduction to meteorology, meteorology departments, structure and properties of the atmosphere, meteorological elements, atmospheric pressure, winds, temperature, humidity, evaporation, precipitation and types of facade systems, air masses, weather stations and their characteristics, and characteristics of instruments used in meteorological stations, phenology and agricultural climatology, meteorology elements and plant growth relationships.
