Course Goal / Objective

Developments in technology such as big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing etc. change business and market dynamics. As technology is now the number one factor affecting organizations, it necessitates changes in business models. By adapting to digital transformation, companies can discover unmet needs of current and potential consumers, find ways to improve products and services, and predict the direction of business environment changes. The main objective of the course is for students to understand the managerial, technical and non-technical challenges in digital transformation (DD) and to have the knowledge and skills needed to manage the change to use technology successfully.

Course Content

The course includes the following topics: Understanding digital innovation, digital transformation concepts, digital strategy, customer analytics, business analytics, process analytics, data analytics, digital technology integration, innovations in informatics.
