Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with academic information about the aesthetic, artistic, industrial and intellectual trends of minor issues in the history of cinema in the national and international framework and current cinema debates

Course Content

Animation cinema, Animation cinema in Türkiye, digital cinema, cyberpunk, Frankfurt School and cinema, Adorno, Bertold Brecht and cinema (alienation aesthetics), Peter Wollen and counter-cinema, exploitation cinema, student presentations

LO09 Makes a presentation about the film industry, film form and content, using the topics covered in the course
