Course Goal / Objective
At the end of this course, it is aimed to enable students to comprehend and interpret the basic principles of investigating signal pathways and mechanisms that determine the contractility of smooth muscle tone.
Course Content
It contains information about receptor types, signal transduction systems and pathways that play a role in the regulation of tone of smooth muscle preparations. Experimental responses of vascular, gastrointestinal and urogenital smooth muscles will be demonstrated in practice.
Course Precondition
