Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to provide information to students about the basic principles of cell and tissue freezing, the fundamental changes that occur in cells during freezing, and the substances used to eliminate the negative effects of freezing.

Course Content

Basic principles of cell and tissue freezing, basic information about the basic changes that occur in cells during freezing. Substances used to eliminate the negative effects of freezing in cells. Freezing of sperm, embryo and ovarian tissue.

Course Precondition

Being a graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture (Department of Zootechnics), Department of Biology.
