Course Goal / Objective
At the end of this course, students are expected to define the basic concepts of epidemiology, list the factors that affect the emergence, transmission and spread of diseases they may encounter, take the necessary precautions for disease control and eradication, and make some calculations related to the disease using epidemiological formulas.
Course Content
This lesson includes the aim and sections of epidemiology, transmission and spread of infections, types of infection, structure of animal populations, distribution of diseases, types and stages of epidemiological research, health schemes, zoonotic diseases, control and eradication of diseases.
