Course Goal / Objective
The overall goal is to understand the behavior of enzymes in vivo and in vitro. This course aims to explain a wide range of enzyme behaviors and properties, from enzymes in cells to isolated enzymes. Revealing the importance of enzymes in fish nutrition, especially in order to make more effective use of formulated feeds for larval and juvenile fish. It was aimed to determine the enzymes used in fish nutrition and alternatively used probiotic, prebiotic and bacterial by-products, and to examine the roles of the raw materials used in the health and survival of fish.
Course Content
Examination of different enzymes used in fish nutrition. Learning the place and importance of enzymes in fish nutrition. Knowing the effect areas of enzymes in fish nutrition. Determination of pH values of enzymes and examination of application methods. To learn about the availability of digestion-enhancing probiotics, prebiotics and by-products of some bacteria as alternatives to enzymes. Enzyme sources in fish feed, problems encountered in enzyme deficiencies in fish feed and fish nutrition.
