Course Goal / Objective

To have basic knowledge about the concepts of health protection and promotion, to understand the importance of health protection and promotion in human life, to have positive health behaviours.

Course Content

Concepts related to health protection and promotion, the historical process of health protection and promotion, the importance of health literacy, the role of health personnel in health protection and promotion, health protection and promotion policies, models used in health protection and promotion, health protection and promotion practices for risky groups.
