Course Goal / Objective
At the end of this course, students are expected to explain cell, DNA and RNA structures and functions, replication, transcription and translation mechanisms, give examples of interactions between genes, immunogenetics, hereditary diseases, lethal genes, express and apply the molecular genetic methods used, and also make comments on population genetics.
Course Content
This course includes topics such as cell, DNA and RNA structures, replication-transcription-translation processes, interactions between genes in animals, immunogenetics, hereditary diseases, lethal genes, molecular genetics and population genetics.
