Course Goal / Objective

Explaining to students the benefits and application approaches of system approach and optimization techniques in solving engineering problems.

Course Content

Systems approach, mathematical models, optimization algorithms, engineering economics and comparison of options, linear programming and environmental engineering applications, dynamic programming.
