Course Goal / Objective

To equip students with the ability to analyze pollutant pressures on water resources, develop management strategies for water quality protection and improvement, and understand monitoring and assessment processes.

Course Content

Pollutant pressures on water resources, water quality management strategies, water quality monitoring and assessment methods, physical, chemical, and biological pollutant parameters, water quality standards and regulations, discharge criteria, national and international regulations.

Course Precondition

Students are expected to have a fundamental understanding of environmental engineering concepts and basic knowledge of water chemistry.
