Course Goal / Objective
The student is aimed to define / classify / make / interpret the necessary calculations / interpret the disinfection methods of drinking water. It is aimed to define / classify disinfection by-products.
Course Content
The basic concept of disinfection, drinking water and disinfection relationship, chlorine chemistry, chlorine-disinfection kinetics, chlorination methods, disinfection unit design, disinfectant selection criteria, disinfection by-products.
