Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to enable students to recognize the concept of energy and basic energy units, understand energy types and transformation forms, global energy resources, development role, importance, and effects on the environment and society. It is also to ensure that they understand global warming and how they affect the environment.

Course Content

Energy concept and basic energy units, energy types, energy transformations, global energy resources, non-renewable energy resources, renewable energy resources, the importance of energy resources in development, the role of energy resources in sustainable development, social effects of energy resources, global effects of energy resources, global warming, environment effects on biosystems, sustainable environment and life.
