Course Goal / Objective

At the end of the course, participants will have knowledge about nutrition and nutritional disorders from a public health perspective

Course Content

The importance of nutrition, related concepts, healthy nutrition, food supplements, nutrition in infants, children, pregnant, elderly and other risky groups, nutritional diseases, obesity, nutritional status in the world and in Turkey, food-borne diseases and food poisoning, genetically modified organisms and additives, diets and counselling, current approaches in nutrition
