Course Goal / Objective

To understand the molecular basis of evolution, to have the necessary knowledge about the evolution of farm animals.

Course Content

A variety of topics in evolution, including insights gained from molecular techniques in particular, but also in-depth studies of different evolutionary concepts (e.g. speciation, selection), the contributions of modern molecular methods, DNA sequencing, etc. to this field.
