Course Goal / Objective
Explain the structure and function of biological membranes that represent the structural organization of the organism.
Course Content
General properties of biological membranes, membrane structure, membrane lipids, membrane proteins, glycolipids, glycoproteins and lipoproteins, membrane permeability and liposomes, membrane asymmetry and liposomes, membrane transport, structure of bacterial membranes, synthesis and membrane localization of membrane proteins, synthesis and membrane localization of membrane lipids, oncogenes and membranes, membrane study techniques
