Course Goal / Objective
To provide information about flora, vegetation, formation types, plant ecology, plant geography, plant sociology and climax. To teach the ways of evaluating flora and vegetation information for the protection of biodiversity in ecosystems.
Course Content
Flora, vegetation, plant geography, plant ecology and the plant kingdom. Flora regions, main vegetation types in Turkey and the world, vegetation structure, classification and measurement methods, vegetation mapping and advantages/uses of vegetation maps.
