Course Goal / Objective
In this course, the physiology of the reproductive system, conception, fetal development, the physiology of pregnancy, the protection and development of mother-fetus-newborn health in prenatal-natal-postnatal periods, and in cases where health deviates from normal, to provide the basis for planning appropriate nursing care in early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation stages. and it is aimed to use this knowledge gained in case discussions.
Course Content
The course includes cultural approach in perinatology, natural birth, mother-friendly philosophy, emergency obstetric care.
