Course Goal / Objective
To enable prospective teachers to gain awareness of the function and importance of museums and to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills about how to benefit from the works of art exhibited in museums in reading and interpreting past cultures and civilisations. To give them the opportunity to recognise the contents related to different disciplines in museums.
Course Content
Within the scope of the course; national and international museums that can be used in the content of social studies education are evaluated within the course programme. Museums in the world and in Turkey are introduced.
