Course Goal / Objective

Gains theoretical knowledge about environmental noise, increases awareness of the negative effects of environmental noise on the environment and human health, takes measures within the scope of regulations in our country and in the world in order to prevent environmental noise, learns the stages of preparing strategic noise maps and noise action plans, learns about the implementation of noise control measures to reduce environmental noise, make environmental noise modelling

Course Content

Fundamental information on environmental noise and acoustic concepts, national and international relevant standards, basic information and practices on noise measurement, modeling, mapping and reporting, preparation of noise action plans.
