Course Goal / Objective
To define the basic concepts of geriatric nursing, to understand the problems that arise due to aging and to understand the role of the nurse in the solution of these problems, to use the systematic nursing process approach to plan, present and develop the health care services offered to the elderly based on the needs of the society, universal and scientific facts, to gain knowledge and skills.
Course Content
İncludes active aging of elderly individuals and their problems and nursing care.
