Course Goal / Objective

Demonstrating basic swimming skills as one of the sportive activities, and being able to teach swimming by transferring these skills to others with the right methods, and establishing the use and importance of swimming in daily life and sports.

Course Content

Definition of swimming, history, safety rules, basic preparatory work in the water (floating and progress), foot strike, arm pull, breathing, coordination, turns and dives, observation, error detection and teaching knowledge in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke techniques.
