Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide advanced technical knowledge and skills in tennis; to teach students advanced variations of forehand, backhand, serve, volley, spike and other types of shots and to ensure that they apply these techniques correctly in a competition environment.
Course Content
This course covers the teaching of advanced forehand, backhand, serve, volley and spike techniques in tennis. Technical details of the shots, their tactical use and application in in-game scenarios are discussed. Service types and strategic service use are emphasized. Net-front games, spikes and special shots (lob, slice, drop shot etc.) are detailed. Techniques are integrated with footwork and positioning skills. The aim is for students to make correct shot selections and develop strategies during the match. All techniques are studied practically. At the end of the course, students will be able to use advanced shots effectively in the game.
