Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to enable students to develop innovative applications by learning the basic concepts, components and application processes of mixed reality technology.

Course Content

The content of the course covers the definition of mixed reality (MR) technology, its comparison with virtual and augmented reality, the hardware and software infrastructure used, 3D modelling, MR application design and interactive user interface development techniques; as well as the application examples, future trends and ethical-social dimensions of MR in areas such as education, health, manufacturing and entertainment.
