Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to introduce students to local and international green building assessment systems used within the scope of sustainable architecture; to teach the basic criteria, scoring mechanisms and application processes of these systems.
Course Content
This course introduces students to the principles, frameworks, and comparative analysis of major green building rating systems, including LEED, BREEAM, WELL, DGNB, and local standards like ÇEDBİK. Students will explore environmental performance indicators, certification processes, sustainable design integration, and case studies from global and Turkish contexts.
