Course Goal / Objective

This course enables students to deepen their artistic practices by working on original projects that reflect their personal artistic identities. It aims to develop a comprehensive creative approach by integrating critical perspectives on art education with artistic processes and teaching methods. Students will focus on experimental and contemporary painting techniques and explore the relationship between their own art practices and educational strategies. Additionally, the course equips students with the ability to design effective learning environments within the context of art education.

Course Content

This course provides students with the opportunity to deepen their personal artistic production through contemporary and experimental techniques. Throughout the semester, students will develop concept-based individual projects while grounding their creative processes in theoretical and pedagogical approaches within the context of art education. In line with critical perspectives in art education, students will establish connections between pictorial expression and the design of learning environments, enhancing both their artistic and educational competencies. The course includes studio work, presentations, and group critiques to support the development of technical and conceptual skills.
