Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with detailed information on contemporary tafsir texts.

Course Content

In this course, students will see the differences between the contemporary interpretations of the Rivayet and Dirayet Tafseers that emerged in the historical process. They will also gain the ability to read the differences of opinion between the sectarian interpretations from the original sources.

LO04 In particular, by reading comparative contemporary texts between sects, they learn the reasons and defenses of the basic debates on the subject.
