Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide information about some literary debates that have been effective in the history of new Turkish literature, starting from the Turkish literature of the National Literature period.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the Tevfik Fikret-Mehmet Akif debate, which has been effective in the history of new Turkish literature since the Turkish literature of the National Literature period, the debates around the Children's Garden and Young Pens magazines, the literary debates of Ömer Seyfettin and Ali Canip Yöntem, the discussions on syllable-aruz, the debates that Ahmet Haşim caused in the literary world and "Some Considerations on Poetry", the literary debates that developed around the Yedi Meşale group, Nazım Hikmet and the Resimli Ay magazine: "We Are Demolishing Puts" and the literary debates that developed around Orhan Veli, Attila İlhan, İkinci Yeni and the Hisar group.
