Course Goal / Objective

To inform the students about examining the properties of the internal structure of materials, depending on the internal structure of the material properties evaluation of the Department of Mining Engineering undergraduate students, structure,physical properties, relationships, material characterization methods.

Course Content

Description to materials science, basic descriptions/ Classifications of materials/ The structure of materials/ Atomic construction, crystals/ Dislocations/ Physical properties of materials/ Mechanical properties of materials/ Industrial materials, metals, Fe-C phase diagrams, alloys/ Plastics materials/ Ceramic materials/ Composite materials/ Colloid materials/ Environmental conditions.
