Course Goal / Objective

They will learn the musical skills of children in early childhood, the use of music in line with the goals to be achieved in preschool education, music teaching techniques and the development of the necessary environment and equipment in the relevant field.

Course Content

This course includes the following topics: The importance of music in preschool education, The relationship between music and education, Music development of 0-8 year old children, Musical skills of 0-8 year old children, Use of music in achieving goals in the preschool education program, Creating a repertoire suitable for the use of music in achieving goals in the preschool education program, Introduction of children's songs, Analysis of children's songs, Criteria to be considered in choosing children's songs, Techniques for teaching songs to preschool children, Creating an educational environment for music education in preschool education institutions, Creating equipment for music education in preschool education institutions, Spiral education model integrated with music activities, Different approaches in music education.
