Course Goal / Objective
The overall objective of this course is to enable technical staff who will practice the profession of architecture to understand concepts related to management, entrepreneurship, and ethics, and to define the activities carried out in construction site organization. It also aims to ensure comprehension of concepts related to contracts and tendering. Students are expected to acquire skills in using and preparing quantity take-off tables, as well as in developing work schedules through the Critical Path Method. Furthermore, the course seeks to raise awareness about construction management and the recent developments in the construction industry.
Course Content
This course comprises fundamental concepts of management and entrepreneurship, ethics, site organization, contracts, tenders, quantity surveying, work scheduling, as well as recent developments in the construction industry and project management.
