Course Goal / Objective
The aim of subject is to deepen students’ ability to use German effectively in field-specific contexts by engaging them in advanced communication tasks, problem-solving situations, and project-based learning. It focuses on refining written and oral skills, producing domain-relevant texts, and developing practical communication strategies tailored to specific professional settings.
Course Content
- The concept and importance of professional German - Terminology and forms of expression specific to different fields - Written communication: emails, form filling, reports, official letters - Oral communication: phone conversations, dialogues, introductions and presentations - Situation-based communication examples by professional field - Awareness of intercultural communication - Practical language activities tailored to different fields
