Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to discuss issues in developmental psychology from fertilization to adolescence in light of theoretical knowledge and recent research findings, and to examine patterns of development and change across different chronological ages.

Course Content

This course explores current debates, research methods, and developmental theories in developmental psychology, beginning with physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional development across different life stages up to adolescence. Approximately 75% of the course content will be drawn from the textbook, while the remaining 25% will consist of recent research findings published within the last three years, as well as experiments related to developmental psychological theories.
