Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge about central banking, monetary aggregates, the general structure and functioning of the central bank balance sheet in terms of the implementation of monetary policy and its transfer to the economy.

Modern Approaches to Money and Monetary Policy; Financial System and Banking; Banking and Central Banking; Independence of the Central Bank; The Importance of Reliability, Transparency and Accountability Principles.
