Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the basic concepts of preschool education, its historical development, philosophy, importance and the developmental characteristics of children in early childhood.

Course Content

Definition of early childhood education, its importance, scope, developmental stages, basic needs and developmental theories in early childhood, thinkers who are the basis of early childhood education, different models in preschool education, preschool education environments, the importance of family participation, preschool education in different countries and the use of technology in preschool education.
