Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the production of motion-based and narrative visual design using generative artificial intelligence technologies. Students are expected to develop creative and narrative-driven projects by utilizing AI-supported production methods such as text-to-video, scene planning, style guidance, kinetic typography, and audio-visual synchronization. A further goal is to raise awareness of the formal, conceptual, and emotional dimensions of design decisions, as well as the ethical and copyright-related responsibilities within AI-based creative processes.

Course Content

"This course explores the integration of generative artificial intelligence into motion graphic design processes through both theoretical and practical approaches. Contemporary AI tools such as text-to-video, prompt-to-motion, and style transfer are applied to build scene composition, narrative aesthetics, and visual timing. Students produce original and layered content by considering the relationships between visual style, typography, rhythm, sound, and storytelling. The course also aims to enhance students’ understanding of copyright, user rights, and ethical principles in AI-generated design practices.
