Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the principles of flexible pavement design based on the Flexible Pavement Design Guide, introduce current experimental methods applied to bitumen, aggregates, and asphalt mixtures, and enable students to carry out a practical project using this knowledge.

Course Content

In this course, a project will be carried out on flexible pavement design according to the Flexible Pavement Design Guide, including current tests applied to bitumen, aggregates, and bituminous mixtures.
