Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to produce original artworks using advanced painting techniques and contemporary art approaches. It also aims to help students enhance their pedagogical skills by relating their individual creative processes to the perspective of art education. Students are expected to develop conceptual modes of expression through experimental methods and to evaluate their art projects within both artistic and educational contexts.
Course Content
This course supports students in enhancing their technical skills and creating original artistic projects. Experimental painting techniques, mixed media applications, and conceptual thinking are integrated with analyses ranging from art history to contemporary art. Students develop individual projects, participate in group critiques, write artist statements, and learn to articulate their artistic processes both verbally and in writing. In addition, they are encouraged to design creative workshop activities within the context of art education.
