Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide a starting point for understanding the basic principles of ecology, its definitions and concepts, ecological natural cycles, the relationship between the disruption of the ecological balance and environmental problems, and the relationships between sustainability and sustainable development in this context, and to provide information that can support the development of awareness of nature and environmental protection.
Course Content
The subjects covered are: definitions of ecology, ecological balance and sustainability, relationships between species, biodiversity and the protection of biodiversity, biotic and abiotic factors and their relationships with living things, causes and consequences of ecological balance disruption, and the regulation of sustainability in a way that supports ecological balance and ensures human well-being.
