Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand basic research methods and sampling techniques used in health research, to select appropriate sampling methods according to research questions, and to plan research processes in accordance with scientific and ethical principles.

Course Content

This course covers research types and designs used in health sciences, concepts of population and sampling, probability and non-probability sampling methods, sample size determination approaches, data collection methods, measurement errors, sources of bias, and ethical principles. Research and sampling processes are discussed through examples from clinical and field studies.
