Course Goal / Objective

The student learns basic information about the characteristics of grassland vegetation and the methods used to study these characteristics.

Course Content

This course covers the explanation of the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of grasslands and pastures, the methods for determining the quantitative characteristics of grasslands and pastures, the evaluation of data obtained regarding the quantitative characteristics of grasslands and pastures, the evaluation of measurement results related to the quantitative characteristics of pastures -pastures from the perspective of pasture management and improvement, herbarium preparation techniques and the identification of species using herbarium specimens, and the synthetic characteristics of grassland-pasture vegetation.
