Course Goal / Objective

Students learn basic information about plants that are toxic to animals in pasture and meadow vegetation, toxic plant-animal interactions, and preventive measures against poisoning in pastures.

Course Content

This course covers -pastures, the principles of poisoning, factors affecting plant toxicity, symptoms of plant poisoning in animals and their physiological responses, diseases that may arise in grazing animals due to poisoning, and the prevention of losses resulting from poisoning.
